Aspen Music Festival
and School
A new brand identity for the Aspen Music Festival and School.
Founded in 1949 in beautifully scenic Aspen, Colorado, the AMFS is regarded as one of the top classical music festivals in the United States, and a premier destination for young musicians to study over the summer.

The new logo was inspired by the clean, modernist aesthetic of Bauhaus design legend Herbert Bayer, who came to Aspen in the 1940s with festival founders Walter and Elizabeth Paepcke and whose sensibility informed every aspect of Aspen's transformation from a ranching community to a world-class arts destination.
Bayer designed season materials for the festival and his influence in the town can still be seen through his architecture and land art.
